How every integration works
DecaOS learns from the data your plant already produces. Every integration is set up with your IT and OT teams, scoped to what you approve, and can be switched off at any time.
- 01
Only what you grant
DecaOS reads the sources and tags you select, through accounts your team creates and controls.
- 02
Read-only first
Connections start read-only. Sending recommendations back to the control system is a separate step your engineers enable, limited to the loops and ranges they approve.
- 03
Process data, not people
DecaOS needs measurements, lab results and batch records. Operator names and other personal data can be left out at the source.
- 04
Your agreement sets the rules
What DecaOS may learn from your data, where it is stored and how long it is kept are set out in your agreement with us.
Systems DecaOS connects to
Process historians
Time-series data · OPC UA, historian APIs or exports
- What DecaOS does
- Reads the tags you select, such as temperatures, pressures, flows, levels and analyser values, to learn how your process behaves over time.
- Access
- A read-only account or connection that your team creates, limited to the selected tags.
- Disconnect
- Revoke the account or remove the connection in DecaOS. We delete the stored credentials.
Control systems: DCS, PLC and SCADA
Live values · OPC UA through a gateway in your OT network
- What DecaOS does
- Reads live process values and alarm states. When your team enables it, sends setpoint recommendations within the limits your engineers set.
- Access
- Read-only until write access is explicitly enabled for named loops.
- Disconnect
- Disable the gateway connection, or switch DecaOS back to read-only, at any time.
Laboratory and quality systems
LIMS · lab results, specifications, release data
- What DecaOS does
- Reads lab results and quality data, so it can link process conditions to product quality.
- Access
- A read-only account limited to the products, methods and sites you choose.
- Disconnect
- Revoke the account. We delete the stored credentials.
Batch records and MES
Recipes, batch records, phases, deviations
- What DecaOS does
- Reads recipes, batch records and deviations, so every batch becomes an experiment DecaOS learns from.
- Access
- A read-only account limited to the lines and products you choose.
- Disconnect
- Revoke the account. We delete the stored credentials.
Process models and engineering tools
Process simulators · kinetic and thermodynamic models
- What DecaOS does
- Works with your simulators and models to design and test process steps before anything is built.
- Access
- Through licences and model files your team provides for the project.
- Disconnect
- Remove the tool from the project. We return or delete the model files as agreed.
File exports for a first study
CSV and Excel · before any live connection
- What DecaOS does
- Learns from historical exports, so you can see what it finds before anything connects to your plant.
- Access
- Files shared through a channel agreed with your team.
- Removal
- Deleted at the end of the study, unless we agree otherwise.
